I'm sure you have all heard that beautiful song by Taylor Swift called Love Story. It's one of my favourite songs this year! Definitely in my Top 5 songs for 2009! (Watch Love Story music video here).
And I'm sure you have all heard that wonderfully famous tune Viva La Vida from the equally famous band, Coldplay. It is another one of my favourite songs too and was in my top 5 songs for 2008! (Watch Viva La Vida music video here).
Imagine combining these two songs into one! What do you get? A total knockout, that's what!!
That was exactly what pianist Jon Schmidt and cellist Steven Sharp Nelson had done!
Watch their brilliant piano and cello performance of Taylor Swift's Love Story meets Coldplay's Viva La Vida. Listen carefully to how the Love Story seamlessly merge into Viva La Vida and then back to Love Story again. Simply awesome!

I like Taylor Swift but not a fan of Coldplay. Don't really find anything interesting with "Viva La Vida", prefer "Life in Technicolor II" - the only Coldplay song I have in my music folder. :-)
That is a great song from Taylor Swift. i love it too. but then, i'm not a big fan of coldplay's music.
I enjoy the combined music. Both performers were playing well. I could sense their inner joy from their expression.

Oh My God! I L.O.V.E Coldplay's Viva la Vida. (this font cannot get bigger than this??!! Otherwise I will put font 30 for "LOVE"!) That music struck me when it was on commercial ad and I franticly searched for his MTV not knowing they haven't had their MTV out yet. I even learnt that song playing it like 20 times none stop just to get the lyrics right. Call me crazy. I do that sometime, that went for 1 of Jason Mraz's songs too.

Well, you will never know if you have musical talent unless you try! I tried playing the violin before, and I think it's really tough for me. Still prefer the piano. But I love the sound of the cello. I sometimes play duet with my friend who plays the cello and me on the piano : )
