Continued from Part 2

Today is the 12th day of Chinese New Year (CNY). In a few more days, the celebration will be over. In fact, most shopping malls in Klang Valley have already taken down the Chinese New Year decorations.

For this final Part, let me share with you the CNY decorations at several malls in the rebranded area in Kuala Lumpur called bbKLCC.



This is the area that covers the shopping and entertainment outlets from Suria KLCC all the way to Pavilion, Lot 10 and Berjaya Times Square in the Bukit Bintang area.



I shall start first with Pavilion KL.



This year, the CNY decorations at Pavilion was a slight disappointment for me. I guess they could not top the huge, majestic dragon last year. I really liked that dragon a lot!!



However, the decorations here were still better than a lot of other malls. I thought the lion head on top of this mannequin was quite nice, although slightly weird. Haha.



I guess they recycled the mannequins from last year's Christmas which was not a bad thing actually.

This is what you see from the area facing the main entrance. Love it!

The theme for this year is 'Circles Of Prosperity'.



Outside the main entrance, the 12 animals of the Chinese Astrological signs were put up.



You may think I am crazy, but yes, I took a snapshot of each of the 12 animal signs. LOL!



Here goes....I shall also include the predictions for 2013 as stated on the notice below each animal. Please take the predictions with a pinch of salt : )

There were many red lanterns hanging outside the main entrance. I wanted to count the number of lanterns from the top to the bottom in a single row, but I got dizzy doing it. LOL!

Next, let's move on to the building opposite Pavilion -  Starhill Gallery.



The hanging lanterns reminded me of the flying angels during last Christmas. Instead of angels, they had replaced them with lanterns.



I thought the lanterns were quite beautiful! What about you?




Berjaya Times Square did not impress me much this year. This is the giant statue outside the front entrance.



I quite like the designs at the top of the two pillars.



Inside it was nothing much to shout about.

Lastly, I went to Suria KLCC.



It looked pretty nice but there's really nothing new with it which had not been done by other malls before.
